Take back control with TrueFix Physical Therapy.  High quality, consistent, and individualized care is the foundation of our company, and what we pride ourselves on the most.

The hip is a complex and highly mobile joint in the body. We like to view the hips as the primary engines of our lower halves. Injuries to this area often involve muscles, ligaments, tendons, or the joint itself.

Common injuries and conditions include:

  • Osteoarthritis
  • Femoroacetabular Impingement (FAI)
  • Hip flexor strains
  • Gluteal tendinopathy

At TrueFix Physical Therapy, we are highly trained to evaluate, diagnose, and treat the above conditions that might be affecting your ability to be pain free and do the things that you love. An individualized approach and attention to your specific deficits is paramount for proper recovery and return to the activities you love.

Hip Conditions We Treat

Inflammation in yor hip joint can lead to an excessive breakdown of the cushion like cartilage in your hip. Although this condition sounds like an end all be all, physical therapy has been shown to greatly reduce the symptoms and limitations you may be feeling.

Femoroacetabular impingement (FAI)
FAI occurs when the two bones of your hip joint don’t fit or move properly together. This can be due to many different factors. An individualized approach is sure to restore normal mechanics and function to your hip, which = less pain for you.

Hip flexor strain
Hip flexor strains occur due to excessive force placed on the tendons and muscles responsible for flexing your hip. Symptoms are felt in the front of your hip and can extend down your thigh. Proper loading and return to optimal capacity is crucial to get you back to what you love.

Gluteal tendinopathy
Gluteal tendinopathy results from excessive strain/load placed on the tendons of your gluteal muscles that attach to your outer most hip bone. Symptoms are felt on the outside of your hip and can extend down the outside of your thigh if severe enough.
