Take back control with TrueFix Physical Therapy. High quality, consistent, and individualized care is the foundation of our company, and what we pride ourselves on the most.
Neck pain is hard to ignore. It presents itself in daily activities such as driving, exercise, and even turning your head. Injuries to this area often involve muscles, the spine, and the nerves that exit the spine. Your neck pain can be a result of repetitive motions, poor positioning, or injuries from sports or car accidents.
Common injuries and conditions include:
- Neck strains
- Disc lesions
- Cervical radiculopathy
- Whiplash
At TrueFix Physical Therapy, we are highly trained to evaluate, diagnose, and treat the above conditions that might be affecting your ability to be pain free and do the things that you love. An individualized approach and attention to your specific deficits is paramount for proper recovery and return to the activities you love.

Neck Conditions We Treat
Neck strains
Neck strains can occur when the muscles and/or tendons of the neck get overstretched or overloaded. A strain in your neck can cause restrictions in range of motion, pain, stiffness, weakness, and muscle spasms.
Disc lesions
Disc lesions/degeneration include any injuries or changes to the discs of your neck. This includes degenerative disc disease, bulged discs, and herniated discs. Discs act as shock absorbers for the individual segments of your spine, as well as provide sufficient space for the nerves of your spinal cord to pass freely.
Cervical Radiculopathy
Radiculopathy refers to an injury to a nerve root at a specific level of your spine. Injuries to nerve roots can be caused by many different reasons. Symptoms can be felt in your shoulder blade, shoulder, down your arm, and even into the hand. These symptoms include pain, weakness, numbness/paresthesia, and difficulty in controlling specific muscles.
Whiplash
Whiplash is caused by a forceful forward and backward motion of your head and neck. This injury most commonly results from a car accident or sports injury. Symptoms can include dizziness, headaches, fatigue, loss of range of motion, weakness, and tingling down your arms.
